1. Who we are

Enfoni GH operates a graduation photography portal that allows students of partner universities to view and order their graduation photos. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

2. Data we collect

Student code — provided by your university, used to identify your account and photos
PIN — set by you on first login, stored as a secure hash. We never store your raw PIN
Phone number — optional, collected only with your explicit consent for SMS notifications
Photos — graduation photos uploaded by your university's photography team
Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser, page visits) for security and performance

3. How we use your data

To provide access to your graduation photos
To send a single SMS notification when your photos are approved — only if you have opted in
To confirm appointments booked through the portal
To maintain the security of your account

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. SMS notifications & consent

Phone numbers are collected on an opt-in basis only. By providing your number, you consent to receive SMS notifications from Enfoni regarding your graduation photos. You may withdraw this consent at any time by removing your phone number from your account settings. Withdrawal will take effect immediately.

5. Data retention

Your account and photos are retained for the duration of your university's contract with Enfoni. Once the contract ends or upon written request, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for SMS notifications at any time

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS encryption, and access controls. Photos are stored on Cloudinary's secure infrastructure.
